I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

That white anthurium with its green leaves and the bokeh makes this a lovely shot for this Friday Sandi.

Actually, Sandi, this single foofy covers a lot more ground (in foofydom) than you probably bargained on. Most people think that white leaf is the Anthurium flower but, au contraire, mon ami, it's simply a colored leaf, common in this foof. You see all those white spots on the red stamen? Those are actually the blossoms, up to a hundred or more on some plants. The Anthurium grows high in the jungle canopy of Latin America and can drop it's main roots as far as 100 feet down to the ground, the manner in which it acquires most of it's water. I submitted one a number of years ago and did some research for my accompanying post. If you didn't already know this completely unimportant trivia (my wife says my head is crammed full of it), you do now.

Happy Trails
