If you have ever seen these birds, they are fast movers. I was thrilled to get some clicks of her/him it's nest was close by. My first ever successful capture with the lens of this bird.

There was a pair, at a nesting box on a trail. They have babies, and I hope to be able to get back there while their babies are still there, and maybe get some pics. of them while feeding.

I was using the Nikkor 70-200 2.8 mm lens, and the D500.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Super duper congratulations on this one! Amazing shot with color and clarity...these birds never stay still for a second, darting all over the place...so this is a major achievement!

The background (making that all the attention goes to the tree swallow), the off centered position, and the details, make this to a perfectly composed and taken image, Sandi.
Your photographic equipment investments (☺) provide value for their money too, my friend!

Lovely capture and pose, it's enhanced by the neutral background, light is perfect here.

Lovely shot. Perhaps a bit too much negative space for my liking.

It's a beautiful capture, the bird really stands out with the neutral background. Awesome photo.

Although some have commented about the empty space you left in, I feel sometimes it really does work in giving the whole image perspective. Great job.

You captured some of the iridescence of the head feathers too , a sign of an excellent image and this sure is.

Excellent job using the Nikor 70-200 mm. Nice light and you even got the eye Sandi.
