After reading your constructive comments on my earlier post today of the bleeding hearts conversion, I decided to remove it.

I agree with you all that the background was too busy, not sure what I was thinking at the time. :) If it's not too late this will be my challenge entry for this week.

I appreciate your honesty, thank you!

I also want to thank you in advance for your comments on this one.

A good choice Sandi - this is wonderful - looks like snapshot form our youth.

You know me. I'm one woman who always tells you the truth. Remember when you warned me to take care while climbing over barbed wire fences to get those shots of the old houses. Still makes me laugh.

Willow and Otis look like fine dogs. The black and white seems to bring out the detail in their smiling faces.

That's a pity, Sandi, but the decision was up to you. We only have to respect this. Good that you could provide us with an excellent alternative on time.

Thanks for this very fine B&W capture of these good friends, my friend!

Well that smiling Willow would win anyone's heart - what a delightful pair and so well captured Sandi.
Will add it to the BWC right now :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I love these happy guys. You don't know what you were thinking? I enjoy all your work, and all of us submit less than stellar work now and then. I don't feel you have to apologise for the bleeding heart entry, but that's just my opinion.

It's a dog's life. Great shot, Sandi ... full of personality and looks great in b&w!

I missed your earlier post that you ended up taking down. So all I can say is that feedback can be valuable, but you have also demonstrated tremendous skill as a photographer. So trust your own instincts above all else. :)

Great one for the b&w challenge. Good thing there was some shadow in the chair for white is a hard thing to photograph.
