I used paint.net and converted one of the pics. from this photo session, and is my weekly entry for the B&W challenge.

I hope you will join us in the challenge, Lyn is hoping for more entries.

I'm very happy to say I feel great after the out patient surgery, and have no pain at all, and have not taken any pain meds.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Glad you are doing well! I too hate pain pills following operations or procedures and get off of them as soon as possible. Your picture makes me feel I am looking at a picture taken in the '50s. With the exception being, of course, his clothing. But, still, makes one feel the comfort of an earlier period.

Great black and white for the challenge, and glad you are better. Pain is no fun for sure, so glad you have none.

The solarized character of the image and the way there's absolutely nothing beyond the grassy knoll they're standing on makes this more art than photo. Very good. Your surgery news? Even better.

I'm happy with you about this result, Sandi!

About your image: it has the appearance of a picture of days long gone by.
Hope that the Wednesday B&W challenge will resume and that this post will be an entry for that, because it's a fine and somewhat nostalgic one, my friend.

So glad your surgery went well. Still take it easy for a day or three though!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
