Very beautiful Sandi with a great colour palette - Autumn against a blue sky is always lovely. Splendid clarity and of course the reflections are a great big bonus that makes this extra soecial
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
It looks like you came down here to our nature preserve and took this one Sandi. The colors are really dynamic and so are the reflections. The water has that swampy look that makes it very interesting. Could easily have been mistaken for a bayou image.
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
As a thumbnail I was thinking that I would rather have seen the top half only, as a pano, but enlargement, as is always the case, proves that the lower, darker water and foliage is absolutely necessary to put everything else in context. My eye is immediately drawn to the dramatic colors in the trees and their reflection, but is equally drawn to those bent reeds in the water, to the left of your signature. That tiny spot could stand alone as a photograph, the manner in which a photograph is dissected to determine its success. Excellent.

Riveting scene! Just got back from a visit to New Hampshire and New York and Virginia (been away for a month) and it will take me some time to catch up on viewing photos. Reflections here are excellent, and I really like the whole capture, wonderful composition.
