See on the gatepost left in your image the vertical text 'March 1', Sandi. Think however that it wasn't added by you, because I suppose that at this time the garden didn't show already the fine Lenten roses.

Yeah, I noticed the "March 1" as well, wondering if this scene is part of a larger display based on dates. The purple blossoms and gold ground cover make for a nice scene, however.
