Yesterday I spent the day in Kalamazoo, Michigan, at the UKC Dog Premier with some friends. Dock Diving is my favorite event to watch, and shoot.

After being out in the sun all day, and lugging around that camera with the 70-200mm lens, I was whooped! I appreciate your comments, thank you in advance.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I'm glad your event was yesterday and not today or tomorrow as the heat is supposed to be wicked here through Monday. Perfect timing on this capture Sandi!

Very nice action shot Sandi. One can see how excited the dog is.

Great capture Tigs - after all day at the show, I'll bet you came home with some great shots - lugging that big lens around all day was well worth it - I know you had fun too!!!!!!!!!!!

I can imagine this very well, Sandi. Thanks for your done effort, in order to provide us with very fine action shots!

To me this image is a perfect 'candidate' (contender) for the current 'Photo Journalism' contest. If you would decide so, wish you all the luck with it, my friend!

Gee, I don't know, Sandi... it kinda looks like she's goosing him. Is that a fair tactic? Should you be showing your finding to the judges? Should he be forced to give back his gold belt buckle? Should I stop being a dumb___? All jokes aside, another great year of shooting these dogs obviously loving the opportunity to get wet. I could definitely see my border collie Amos doing this... he can leap effortlessly, even at age 9, and he and his much wider and less mobile sister both love playing in the river (although he shuns the bath hose as though it was a snake).
