Some of you know that I have been visiting Exotic Feline Rescue Center for some years now. I took my neighbor Elaine, and we did the overnight stay.

Each big beautiful cat has it's own story but sadly most of those stories are ones of neglect. Joe Taft the founder of EFRC is now housing about 160 big cats of all different breeds, from bobcats, servals, puma's, and leopards to the larger tigers, and lions.

I managed a few shots through fencing, using the Nikon D500, and Nikkor 70-200mm 2.8 lens.

Shooting was difficult since I had to shoot through fencing, and try to avoid greenery that was growing outside, and inside of the large enclosures. Thank you in advance for your comments.

You are so good at these animal shots Sandi and this is no exception. What a wonderful work the Rescue Centre does.
This fellow looks a bit hungry !!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

---Shooting was difficult since I had to shoot through fencing---

Amazing shot, taken in difficult conditions, Sandi.

See that this tiger has an eye on you. Hope however that the curled tongue isn't indicative for its intentions, my friend, ☺ ☺ ☺ !

Our local big box stores are already putting up their Christmas displays. I guess that must explain this guy chowing down on hard Christmas ribbon candy. (He/she looks sweet and cuddly enough to pet... with a ten-foot pole!)
