My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

We are unique in our own way. Just like every snowflake is. they are all still snowflakes. all of them together as a whole make up the snow. I world of imperfection to create perfection!
You've got more patience thanI, Sandi... and a longer lens, I think. Was out kayaking a prairie stream this morning, with my wife, and a cool flicker lands on the high bank behind me, about a dozen feet away. I'm slooooooowly adjusting my grip on my Canon, pulling the lens cap, turning it on, and trying to get it up to shoot, when my wife says "I can't believe you're not getting a shot of it." ...and just as the viewfinder is mere inches from my eye... the flicker flies away. Slump* You're using something like a 400mm, right? I'm stuck with an inexpensive 18-250mm until either Christmas or another trip to Glacier National Park. With your distance you're able to get such intimate captures of our wee friends. Color me green.
