Sits a blue jay, not far from a feeder.

Thanks for your comments, and I hope you have a nice Sunday.

A fabulous close up Sandi and some lovely bokeh as well = the blue jay looks like it might like to some inside or maybe thinks you have some food !

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

It looks lonely Tigz. It is difficult to get a closeup of Blue Jays.
I too like the bokeh with the red patches.
Great shot.

Good shot. Appears to be asking which way to the birdfeeder with the good stuff in it.

Curious or a way of saying 'Thanks' for you generosity, Sandi? ( 😜 ).
Anyhow a fine 'birdie' close-up!

You've got more patience thanI, Sandi... and a longer lens, I think. Was out kayaking a prairie stream this morning, with my wife, and a cool flicker lands on the high bank behind me, about a dozen feet away. I'm slooooooowly adjusting my grip on my Canon, pulling the lens cap, turning it on, and trying to get it up to shoot, when my wife says "I can't believe you're not getting a shot of it." ...and just as the viewfinder is mere inches from my eye... the flicker flies away. Slump* You're using something like a 400mm, right? I'm stuck with an inexpensive 18-250mm until either Christmas or another trip to Glacier National Park. With your distance you're able to get such intimate captures of our wee friends. Color me green.
