One more from my vacation to the U.P of Michigan.

I found this type of shooting a challenge, since I don't have this type of photo opt. around here.

If all goes according to plan I hope to go back up there at there end of Sept.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

There is something soul recharging about such scenes. You captured this one so very well.

You did great Tigz. I agree with Ace (Stan).
Richie is the expert on these shots.

Yes an ND filter would do the trick but It's good all the same..Sunlight on water Is nigh Impossible and one of the biggest challenges you can face..I alway try for a dull cloudy day for waterfalls or at least a fall deep in the shady woods.....R.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Except at the area where the sunlight was too bright it is a good shot well taken Sandi.

I used to use a neutral density filter Sandi - even for flower shots on very sunny days. I think this turned out well.

Right about now that would be a great place to be and get cooled down. It is a beautiful sight. Good work.

Perfect use of the photo opportunities during your vacation, Sandi, resulting in another splendid capture! Perfectly chosen exposure time, so achieving dynamics in a static picture. The lighting is the well known cherry on top of the cake!

I remember the falls there at the end of a trail/boardwalk through the woods, culminating in a moderate falls that comes out of the woods and drops into a large rocky bowl, completely surrounded by the woods. In fact, 18 years later I can still remember the feel of the mist from the crashing waterfall floating up to our faces as we stood on a railed observation platform at the end of the boardwalk. That falls pooled in the bowl and headed for Lake Superior, the spot where it pours out and down into the lake clearly viewable from Castle Rock (east-northeast of the Castle). I'm sure you saw that when you were out on the "Castle". This one, however, I do not recall. Are you able to pinpoint its location for me, in a description, perhaps, for when I return to Munising for a longer visit? Spaciba.
