Some of you might remember that I along with two other very good friends make a day's trip to Grand Haven, Michigan, every year. We celebrate a birthday, and enjoy our girls time away from home.We made this yearly trip this past Sunday, and the weather was perfect!

'Intriguing' image because of the empty chairs, Sandi, 😜 !
Just kidding of course.
Must have been a successful yearly trip witness this lovely and well composed beach scene.

Great diagonal at work here Tigz with the fence, lights, shoreline and horizon. I like how the horizon and the fence/lights appear to meet in the distance.
Great composition. One of your best.

Lovely summer scene very well photographed Sandi. Well composed with those two lighthouses too.

Those chairs on the beach looks like my wife's kind of place (she loves beaches), while I would be all over that lighthouse. The furthest we've been into Michigan has been Mackinaw City and Fort Michilimackinac, coming across and from the UP, but when my wife retires I think we're going to do a lot more traveling. Might be nice to look up a few of my Caedes friends along the way and check out some of the places I've been introduced to here. [So far have met Mimi and ted3020, Ted Taylor]
