This garden was created in 1961 and was 2 acres, it is now 6 1/2 acres, and is a private residence. They love sharing their property with the public, and no fee is charged. But you have to get in contact with them, to arrange your visit. A friend of mine took me there last year, and it's truly beautiful, and amazing. They live on the property, but you hardly notice the home for all of the many plantings. I would love to go back, and hope too.

Thanks for your comments.

So, there is my row boat. Darn thing keeps slinking away from me!!! Sandi it does look quite lovely. Since the creation of the garden was sixty years ago, are the current owners the original owners or relatives of the people who created this beautiful garden?

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
