How wonderful Tigs - the first monarch has arrived in your area - I haven't seen any yet - I have phlox in bloom but haven't had any visitors as yet - you really captured that shot well - Love It!!!!!!!!
Wow, I just zoomed in as far as my iPhone 11 will allow me and your photo is still not pixelating. That is some tack-sharp, top-drawer focusing, Sandi, not to mention all the other technical boxes you have successfully checked with this one. You must have been close enough for the flutter to see itself in the lens. Three thumbs up, six stars out of five, directly into my favorites file, and this needs to be published somewhere!
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
Excellent to get one sitting still long enough. Last year, we had none appear in spite of many flowers including three varieties of milkweed. We have had a few stop in recently - but they must be on speed, or drinking RedBull - they flit about so quickly is is impossible to get a photo.
