One from my trip to the U.P. I'm heading back up there this Sunday. I recently purchased an used Ipad Air-our local high school was selling them, they were clean, and ready to use. I think it was their way of getting some money back on them, since they were upgrading to newer ones.

I will leave the laptop behind, and travel a little lighter by taking the Ipad.My first time of using one, and so far I like it. :)

Thanks for your comments. :)

Summer of 2001 my wife, son, and I traveled across the south shore of Superior, stopping every so often at points of interest. At Salt Point on the east end, with that white sand and range of blues of water and sky, the only thing missing to make the scene look like a South Pacific shore was a palm tree. Before I read the title of this photo I was wondering when Sandi had traveled to the Philippines? That part of the world is known for its sunsets and, apparently, so is Superior. Come to think of it, the sunset across Munising bay was pretty spectacular as well. Unfortunately I did not t have a camera on that trip so I will have to rely on beauties like this one to let me reminisce. Into my faves immediately!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
