One from the friendship garden, and probably my entry to the contest.

Tomorrow I will leaving early for a day trip to Grand Haven, Mi. with some girlfrends, we do this once a year.

While that shape does look like a tree branch, the object at the end actually looks a bit like a partially immersed concrete block. Your composition of layering leaves and water and reflections, mixed with the surface elements, I think, is rather inventive. A good choice for an entry. Good luck in the voting.
