If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
As a boy, visiting my relatives various farms and working as a hand on one for six years, I used to think of them as dirty, stinky, and downright mean and nasty, but it is photos like this one, Sandi, that has shown them to be rather beautiful birds. In 2019 our city council approved raising chickens inside city limits (just in time for Covid, it appears~~food shortages the same reason I built a garden), something we banned about sixty years ago, and every so often one of the Rhode Island Reds four doors down the street escape their pen and wander the neighborhood, saying hi and scarfing up nuisance bugs. Kinda cool.
