My first hummingbird capture this year. I visited the calendar garden early evening and there were several of them, and they were so active, that I was pleased that I was able to get any pictures of them at all.
This might be a baby, but i'm not sure.
I finally made use of the Nikon, and took time to upload, and edit. Lol!

Exceptional shot Sandi - wonderfully captured. I do see hummingbirds almost every week but up here on the 6th floor they are zipping off somewhere else although they occasionally check out my flowers but they are not the type they like.

You are lucky, Sandi, in that you can say **of this year.** So far, in my entire life, I have seen one. Total. One. And that one was very fleeting, hovering for just seconds over one of the conical, orange flowers in the ivy covering the south side of my brick kitchen. You, on the other hand, are able to get gorgeous captures of them.
