Hi Robert. This is a gorgeous photo. I love the way the lights turned out in this shot. Large non glaring perfect starbursts. The moon has been gorgeous the last couple of evenings. This is a lovely capture all the way around.

It's hard to say what I like most about this photo. Maybe it's the deep blue of the evening sky, or the way the light reflects in the water or the perfect geometry of the composition. I guess that about covers it, no wonder I think this is a pretty good photo!

Excellent capture, light and composition. Was this a timed exposure, Robert, or does the fog naturally lay like that?

Great photo. Really pulls you up the path of lights. I normally wouldn't want to see the near shoreline but the light play on it adds distance. Marvelous work.

did you use a soft focus filter for this? or how did you get those awesome lightbursts around the lights?

Carl, no filters were used. The starbursts just happen when I use that particular lens and a long exposure.

Excellent shot, Robert. I really like the composition and how the man-made lighting blends in with the dark sky and complements the natural light from the moon. The sharpness is also outstanding.

Beautiful shot, Robert - the composition and exposure are excellent, and those starbursts are a nice touch even if they are just an artefact :-)
