My sweetheart and I went out so she could try out her new tripod. As luck would have it the weather bunged on a display for her. Yes I took my camera too and this is what we found. Enjoy.

"Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great." - Mark Twain
Like a painting, gratulated with this magical shot. Just one request: post it without the border. I would very much like to keep this on my desktop. High marks!.
Either way, framed or not, this shot works for desktop use. It's gorgeous Robert. Nice choice in frame to pick up the colors. The cloud formation is not one I think I've seen before. They almost appear as if you could touch them being so low and dense. The composition is spot on as my eyes go from left to right.
Wonderful how the blue of the sky and reds of sunset change as you move across the sky and how these are repeated in the water. You picked the perfect time for this shot and nailed the composition and exposure.
I like your whole presntation here. Great composition and color. Love that color. The framing is just right. A definate 10 by me and on my desktop.
A human being is part of a whole, called by us the Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest--a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.
Albert Einstein

I wrote your name on my hand but it washed away...
I wrote your name in the
sand but the waves whisked it away....
I wrote your name in my heart and forever it will stay........."
All of earth is crammed with heaven And every bush aflame with God But only those who see take off their shoes. - Elizabeth Barrett Browning<p>

This photo is very beautiful! I have no words to explain it. One little remark though which doesn't matter too much is maybe the effect would be even greater if the border was a darker blue like light indigo. Other than this it is a wonderful sunset..Love it!
