It was very gloomy in the forest, I had to use ISO 800 to get this. I like the way it turned out. He is an Eastern Yellow Robin.

i love robins.. aww :)
i rarely see yellow coloured like this one, he's absolutely beautiful.. what a cute little birdie :) blurry? yes, but the background blur focuses our little hero.. and therefore, the image is great. don't dare to contradict me :D details are nice too and framing as well.. but i like our little feathered friend the most :) he's so cute :)

If this is Robin, where is Batman? Sorry, jk. I love this one. I would probably have liked it better without the black border (unless I'll stick it on my wall ^_^) but the framing of the subject is excellent and I guess that was maybe possible only after some cropping... (At any rate you did the border rather well. I like that it's not totally symmetrical and that you didn't use colors other then black and white in it.)

i love the branch he's on leads effectively out of the frame and to me it adds a nice emphasis on the open feeling around the adorable little bird. love his eye too. great shot.
