OH! what a choice photo! Absolutely beautiful colours. Werent you the fortunate one to find this little guy//gal sitting so proudly on this little boat? And then the colours..wow...between the blue and the bright colours on the little flags....its such an amazing shot! And not a ripple right there....like a sheet of blue glass!!! Bet you were smilin' real big on this one! Just lovely!!!!!!!!
What a treasure you have here, Robert...it plays on various emotions...the peace and serenity of that lone little boat so well reflected out there on that motionless blue water is a beautiful capture in itself... but then you have this amusing name on the boat and this feathered creature manning the helm with no regard for the pennants...well, it just makes the whole thing a marvellous composition and a joy to view...10 and favs from me...and tks for sharing.:Pat.
Hi Robert
oustanding picture,, and like Pat said very serene.
great colors and depth in this one.
This atmosphere is really marvelous...i could become poetic about this shot.
But ..grinn, my english isn't that good
The main object of this photo is the reflection, it is so clear even better than
the original boat, that makes it so outstanding.
It brings you the peace and serene !
great piece of art photo

If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
I was browsing thrue your gallery and found this one, it is just gorgeous. The bird on the boat and the reflaections in the still water. Great comp and colours. +favs
Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
This is one of the things I really like about the Caedes homepage — I keep seeing these jewels from years past that I didn't know existed. The color and focus is very good, the composition is excellent (placing the main subject off center), the subject contrast works very well (between that smooth blue water and the gaily decked-out boat), and it's just plain fun as photos go. Into my favorites file, thanks.
