great shot Robert - there's a lot of stuff going on in there in a very subtle way. the lighting is fantastic. The only annoying thing that I can see is the same problem I've had with a lot of mountainous landscapes is the funky blue chroma you get on mountain shadow areas when you expect them to be near black - always had to fix it with a selective colour alt. but thats just a minor issue in an otherwise very well composed shot. Dare I say 'Nice Job'?
The heck with your dinner guests. It would have been a crime to pass this up. I see movement in the clouds and I swear I can hear that brook. Soooooooooo glad you shared!!
ohhh is very clear. This one must have been taken with a newer digital camera
no artifacts or noise, and the lighting is perfect.. no overexposed.
Colour is very good also.
subject also very good.
i give 10. :)
he there, robert :)
wow.. i'm really, really glad your guests had to wait :)) this is an outstanding image!
i love to see beautiful works like these, they make a perfect calming desktop and demonstrate the artist's talent.. ;) i love the lighting on this image, it's absolutely spectacular! those shadows create wonderful contrasts and add a certain mysterious touch to this one.. it reminds me of one zeppelin song, over the hills and far away, it really does :) that soft blue sky looks wonderful as well, but i'm impressed with the lighting and the beauty of that moment. thank you for sharing it with us :)
This image is really rich because it contains very different areas: grass in the sun, grass in the shadow, dark mountain, blue/cloudy sky, trees, ... Excellent job, Robert :-)
It-really-looks-magnificent. There's so much of this capture to take in, topped by the overwhelming expanse and calm. Im glad you took the shot. The guests were prolly glad you did too. Thumbs up trisbert.

Photography is not a trade - it is an art. It is more that an art.
It is a solar phenomenon,
where the artist collaborates with the sun.
