This is one of Trisha's pot plants. The label on it say's it’s an Aquilegia. But think I’ll call it Dainty Delight.

Here we call them Columbines, they grow profusely all over Oregon..A lovely photo, dainty indeed!....I love how you were able to get all the "little curley q's" very very pretty!! and always the black background is great

Stunning desktop image, Robert. I love the spent blossom just hanging out there for all it's worth. This shot is a 10 in my book and saved to my personal floral collection. I have a version of the wild variety of this flower, but I like yours much better.

Well, I like yours and Alexis' both. ;) Two completely different settings. Both oh so delicate and elegant. I agree that the one hanging out there at the top adds much to the overall balance of this photo. ;)

I find it quite difficult to do and pick black background subject for photos. I am really amazed how some could easily do it. This is one for my amazement look.
