What a lovely lovely photo, Robert...that late afternoon light can easily be seen surrounding the chapel and with the b/w it seems to have a special aura all its' own nestled there among the trees...it really has a spiritual feel to it...the placid water and peacefulness of the location itself all add to the mood...great work.:Pat.

This is a great black and white photo. Even so, there is more than enough subtle suggestions of color. The strange glow of glorious light that is mysteriously shining down upon God's house is awesome.Some of it splashes over onto the treetops and of course the path to the house of worship is lighted. Everything about this scene speaks of tranquility and peace.

What makes this image a special one is the slight glow that cover the whole area. And you have done a good deal of work converting this image to black and white.I wishe there is more of the lake visible.
