This is one of my favourite places. I’ve never seen another soul here unless I bought them with me. There’s never any litter, just birds, eels, freshwater lobsters and bugs. Lots of bugs. It’s one of those places I don’t visit often but when I do I don’t want to go home.

Very nice place, Robert. The light and the reflections work perfectly.
Just one thing: is that red color on the trees natural?

Thank you Pierre. The trees are natural, perhaps I should photograph some of our pretty tree trunks.

Hello Robert! I can well understand why you would love this spot..how very beautiful it its!! When Romane used to post photos here, he sent me photos now and then of various trees in Aussie, they are very different and the colours are so unique. I didnt realize you have fresh water lobsters over there. Thats so wonderful. You could probably get some great shots of little bug-a-boos! Thank you so much, my friend, for posting this lovely photo...verena

I have a place similar to yours Robert. Although I never take more than my four legged friends there. Beautiful spot and wonderful capture of it.

This is a very nice snag. I especially like the ability to see both the reflection and what is just under the surface. Keep up the great work. May you know success and fulfillment.

My only crituque is that personally I would like the water to have a sharper reflection. I know some people love it the way it is and that's cool too. In any event, great capture. Hope to see images more from this wonderful area.

This is exactly this kind of place where I would take only my four-legged best friend, Boris along. And then I would be busy like hell keeping him off the water LOL
Very nice image, Robert, thanks a lot and congratulations [double = for finding it and profiting from it LOL]

Tis me again Rob! I think when I'm older, I'm going to get an allotment and style it on this! Er, anyway.... :P A great image, it has to be said, with the reflections, lighting and composition. Looks like a place of peace, solitude, and privacy. Exactly where I want to be! I think you captured the mood expertly, and next time you go, please take a very large card for your camera, and an extra battery - just incase!! I can think of only one way to improve this really. The border you've done is good and doesn't move the attention onto it, but, if I were to have this as a wallpaper, I would only see the top border, because my start bar thing at the bottom would cover it up, so it'd look uneven. Anyway, apart from that tiny criticism, this'll be going into my favourites - good work!
