Looks early morning....a misty kinda morning. The shed is interesting...but the misty-foggy effects beyond make horror movie lovers like me...imagine that any second, a zombie will lurch into view......hahaha
Excellent photo Rob! I like the haze in the background and the way it gives those trees a sort of mystic feel about them! Well done on the focus of the barn as well!
The Bible tells us to love our neighbors, and also to love our enemies; probably because generally they are the same people.

This is absolutely STUNNING! You waited for the perfect time by the looks of it. So beautiful. The lighting, exposure, clarity...all outstanding. If I could give you a 20 for this capture, I would! :-))
Trisbert, Trisbert, Trisbert...what are we going to do with you? You don't post all that often but when you do........
This is beautiful. Love that fog and the time of day you captured the shed (more like barn). Had you waited till later, you would not have had a picture to shoot. I have one I will be posting soon. How many times have I passed this ole shed and it looked awlful. But, one Sunday morning, early for once, I drove by it and it was majestic and I shot it. The trees in this composition are awesome.. The fact that the fog has everything else blanked out in the background just further inhances what CAN be seen. Going in my favs and on my desktop, my friend. Rave reviews!

Compositional beauty. Interesting weathered shed.Looks like a tin siding - good and rusty. The three trees have well defined form. The tall one is elegant appearing. The green/yellow grass adds a touch of vibrant color to the image. Looks like the morning mist is burning off. Appreciate the work you've done..thanks Robert :*>
A truly fantastic shot Robert, you have captured the scene beautifully, at a perfect moment.
It puts me in mind of a Graeme Sydney painting - I can not give higher praise than that :)
Well you really timed it right Robert...great lighting and atmosphere present...what a wonderful composition...it would make a great painting...I love those trees and the shed and trees just seem to go so well together...great eye for a good shot...well done my friend.:Pat.
Your wife must grow weary of seeing you pacing back and forth, looking pensive .. till she blurts out .. "yer gonna go look at that dang shed agin' aren't cha" .. to which you reply .. "yep, I wuzza aimin' to" ... "Don't go today, Robert, Not today, Give it a rest, you can go agin tomorrah" ... then .. the sound of the creaking door, swinging back and forth, is all we hear
;o)
I think you just managed to catch that magical light that peeks through fog
This is a great shot. It's amazing that the subject is so sharp and clear yet the background is all fogged. Did you manipulate the photo or is this as shot? It's well-framed, perfect imaging and superb contrast for a low light situation. Excellent work. anne
Well, you definately achieved your goal, as this weather and lighting surely make the shed look "interesting" Ha, actually it looks awesome! Great job!
Well Robert, it appears as though your wait was worth it! The mist/fog gives this image just the right feel and certainly adds to the old barn. Spot on composition, good color and clarity and high quality . Thanks for sharing this scene with us. I think it belongs on my wall, framed..perhaps in a lovely wood frame? ;~)
I can see why you were drawn to this shed. For me, it's as much the limbs of that old tree, the way they've endured the winds for so many years. The lighting is the prize for your patience. Wonderful photo, Robert.
It looks as though the tall tree has gone through the same hell as the shed, what with branches dead or missing. My eye is immediatley drawn to the contrast between the brilliant grass and the dull red rust on the metal wall. Although the shed is in the middle of the photo, the fact that the horizon line is low keeps the composition perfect, and the small ghostly tree on the right allows the feeling of the group, trees and shed, to be one of isolation. You should be proud of this one. Even the c-index is uncharacteristically appropriate.
erm... well this is again an amazing capture. crisp and clean and full of detailed different awesome textures! Love it Trisb!
