Here is a tiny mushroom I found in the Watagan Mountains. I posted a version of this last week and I was rightly criticised for having over saturated greens. So I scratched my head and learnt how to retain the reds without destroying the greens. Enjoy if you will.

I did not see the previous version, but this one is certainly wonderful. Everything is sharp and clear and the colors seem completely lifelike. Great composition--it looks like this is a tiny corner of Paradise.

Well, we all go thru life having learnt new things. All the colors look natural in this one. I hope you didn't sample that mushroom. Apparently not or you wouldn't be posting this.. That's a beautiful plant. But the capture of the greenery surrounding it is even better.. What crips detail and focusd. Well done.

Such a beauty and stands out well against the lush greens. What a lovely shade of pink and pleasing drop of rain to top it off. Nicely framed with the thin white border against the black. You've done it again Robert..another quality image :*>

I think it's near perfect. I share your frustration working with RAW...so many ways to go. You nailed this one. Interesting little berries off to the right. Nice work.

Hi there Robert! What a unique creature you have given us. I did not see the original ( we have been on a vacation), but this is a beauty! I love how this mushroom is nestled amongst the fir needles as well as other vegetation. Everything looks so wonderfully fresh and I can smell the mountain air a mile (actually more like thousands of miles:) away! Whatever you did, you did good. This is going right to my favorites folder on my hard drive and I will run it in my special screensaver slideshow program. Thank you for sharing this with us my friend. Good work :~)

Didn't see the first posting ... unimportant. I did get to see this one in the gallery and said to myself "Gotta get a closer look". Glad I did. Never saw a mushroom quite so pretty as this one and you composed the image beautifully among that lush greenery. Good work.
