Here’s a photo for Terri, who wants to see more photos from Australia.
Of course the rest of you can enjoy it too.
It was taken from Cranky Corner near Maitland.
This is awesome, the way the light illuminates the valley in the back and leaves the front in the shadows. I'm looking forward to more images - if they are as beautiful as this one, they need not be from Australia ;-)
Sure is a smasher Robert...nowt 'Cranky' about this one.....Awesome differences in the tones from the sun and the shadows...good capture my friend, I'm sure Terri will be delighted with it...as the rest of are............
wow this is beautiful, almost leaves me speechless!! of course i love the lighting in this shot, it is so dramatic and beautiful. and the colors are perfect, the many different shae of green and yellow, truly incredible. i really like how i can see the mountains going on forever but just by their silhouettes. my friend was lucky enough to visit australia, and i was jealous before, but now...i can hardly contain myself i wish i could be there right now!! great capture, into my favs! ~abby
*Cranky Corner* - what a great name! Awesome contrast between the sunlight on the mountains, and the dark foreground. Wonderful light, lemon custard colored sky. The dark green trees in the foreground add more beauty. Super capture of a lovely view. More of Australia, please. Thanks Robert :))
I need to stop coming in so late to post my comments. Everyone else takes the words right outof my mouth !!!! I certainly wouldn't call this "cranky". Made me feel great just looking at it. Nicely done.
Great shot Robert. Love the golden hue and the subtle foreground. Nicely done. Cranky Corner eh? I suppose owd Bowb and myself would fit right in there. *Whispering* Speaking of owd Bowb.... is it just me or has he gotten uglier? He could stop a charging Rhino.
The Bible tells us to love our neighbors, and also to love our enemies; probably because generally they are the same people.

This is a wonderful looking morning and It is great to see some of the great views that we have to offer from Australia. You have captured this image very well. Great work

This is what I have suspected - it must be Robert. I have found this mood evoking picturesque photo in the voting booth, my friend. And you scored top high! Well deserved!
GAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooo late viewing this...but so honored to have found this! THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a truly beautiful place! { 120 comments and views left to go}...
what a nice break to have seen this! :)
Great work on capturing the natural beauty. The colors are easy on the eyes, the long views thru the valleys give the image depth and the foggy backdrop adds alittle mystery.
Thanks for posting this one. Its a keeper!......tim
I want to walk through there, without running into anything dangerous.
What a difference between Canada and the US as far as the animals and critters, etc.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. The lighting, the placement of the hills, the light mist in the sky, the greenery. . . Wonderful!
Would you mind if I might use this picture in a missions presentation in the Bible College Missions class I'm in?
P.S. I just put up two new pictures, and one more is on the way. Let me know what you think, if you have the time. If not, don't worry about it! have a great day!
