a wonderfull boat capture again^^, this warm deep orange is fantastic as background.
this particular shot reminds me of an old favorite movie of mine : the Goonis^^
Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
As me mate above said excellent. Beautiful set against that orange...yellow...gold...redish orange...orangeish red...yellowish gold...well whatever it is it's awesome. I'll bet you waited all day for that shot.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Very romantic! Love the sihouette effect, and of course the colors are magnificent. The sunset backdrop makes for a very different "nautical" picture, as most of 'em are blue or gray.
I'm likin' this one a lot ... a WHOLE LOT. The ship itself is beautiful with the light behind it and very well focused ... but the coloring makes this a standout. Request permission Sir to board this ship ... in my favorites. Thanks Robert.
This is one of those pictures that stands out above most. Very lovely, a great capture !! She looks good with her sails furled. Hard to imagine her life started in 1874 and she is still seaworthy.
This is a wonderful shot captured with a right combination of location and light. I see a whole lot of potential to boost this image including burn, levels and cloning.
Oh Robert, this capture is out of this world! Great desktop material. I like how the ship and other boat have a dark silhouette. Something about the ship makes it appear touchable. The silver hue of the water is magnificent, as are the ripples and small waves. The background orange haze is eye catching as is the yellow background. Gorgeous coloration. Wonderfully composed and good details of the ship. Another fine image Robert, thanks :^>
This is beautiful! I love the color of the sunset and how it permeates the whole image. I like how the boat is almost silhouetted and that you left it off center, however I think it would have done better with more open space in front of it.
Wow! I heard about this being in the harbour and was annoyed I didn't have the chance to get there. I'm so glad I didn't now because I could never have produced anything close to this quality. It's spectacular. Very, very well done!
A lovely shot indeed. I love the looks of big sailing ships and this one is gorgeous and in a wonderfull setting. It would be fun to play with this and remove the anachronisms (telegraph lines, yaught etc.).

Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand.

This one really caught my eye! I could go on dreaming about adventures of all sorts forever if not for the modern background. It's a pity, really that there's those power lines and cars in the background. But other than that, it's a truly brilliant capture and i love the orange sky!
Thanks for sharing!
