Wonderfully crisp shot! I love the way he's using his tail feathers for balance. Well done Robert, your patience really does pay off on getting these shots.
Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
Like a bird on a wire Like a drunk in a midnight choir I have tried in my way to be free Like a fish on a hook Like a knight from an old fashioned book I have saved all my ribbons with thee.
Crackin Shot mate!....This little chap needs to be careful where he sits?...there's a bit of a spike ready...just where it would hurt (or thrill!) what ever mood it in!
Great colours and the clarity is 'crystal'...nice one my friend...........
Amazing capture with such perfect clarity and detail! The soft, clear blue makes a most pleasing background. I love the simple, yet effective presentation.

Well he looks like he's in a precarious position. What a terrific shot Robert! Good detail, clarity and composing. He's quite a cutie, with that high raised tail and fluffy feathers - and he's keeping his eye on you. A splendid view against that beautiful blue sky. This is a keeper and should get high marks. Thanks for this lil guy :^>
This is a awesome photograph Robert and I love these birds. I am trully amazed that it stayed there for so long. I love the clarity of the image. Excellent work

I found a horse hair bird's nest a couple of years ago and, as it had fallen to the ground, I collected it and brought it inside. It's quite an adorable little thing, much like your bird :o)
What a cutie, I don't recall ever seeing a juvenile before. Did I mention that my Aunt once told me she has seen them pull hair out of peoples scalps to build nests? They certainly are bold...
