Well, this is a satisfactory substitute for the comet. That lake is like a giant mirror - lovely reflections of the skys magnificent show. I like the rocky area, leading to the birds who are taking in the view. The sky has exquisite colours and pretty breaking clouds. Good desktop material Robert, and should do well in the voting booth :*))

The colors and the reflections are pure eye candy Robert. Mother Nature has such a great sense of outdoor decorating, especially in pastels, doesn't she? The reflections are breakingly beautiful. Surely I prefer the sunset - what a pleasure to my tired eyes after so many days without sun. Goes right to my desktop - I will use it for my eye therapy during winter time, lol. It wouldn't be so eye pleasing without this array of vivid colors.
