He / She is a Silver Eye, which is 10 grams restless activity in a bundle of feathers. He / She is perched in a Gymea Lily. The flower is on top of a 6 metre spike. Oh you want to know how I got there? I was on an adjacent cliff. Enjoy.

A lovely clear composition starring this sweet lil bird. I like the sideways pose, and what a pretty perch he/she has. The blurred background works well with all the rich bright colours. For sure, a delightful desktop view. Thanks Robert, for sharing all this beauty :^>

I may be late in seeing this fantastic picture, but it was well worth the effort to check out your gallery. The Yellow of the bird on the red of the flowers is a grand combination, in my opinion. The colors of the blurred background compliments very well. A gorgeous picture.

We call them Wax Eyes, delightful little birds. I dont know how you managed to get it like this - they are very fast.
