If anybody can identify this flower I would appreciate it. The shot was taken last spring at the Chicago Botanic Garden and the bloom was very interesting. All comments and critiques appreciated. PS this was identified for me by SusieSun as Persicaria bistorta 'Hohe Tatra' - common name Bistort and is common in English and cottage gardens.

They look like one of those brushes that my Mom used years ago to clean her flute. Great shot with beautiful colors and lighting. Well done, Kathy.

Don't know, Kathy, but they are really pretty. They resemble Liatrus, but the leaves are totally different. Hope you find out. I'd like to know too. I like the full screen of them.

I don't know the name of the plant, but have seen them growing around here in flower beds. A lovely capture of them. Nice colours, details and lighting in your photo.

Kathy - Perhaps they are a variety of Callistemon (Bottle Brush)? They are pretty. Thad
