A deep magenta color hyacinth - a more traditional color. The hyacinths blooms are dying off now - too bad they have such a sweet fragrance.

Here we have the prototypical Kathyesque shot. The border is perfect for the image of the flower. The flower itself is beautifully rendered with your innate sense of mixture of sharpness and silkiness. The pinks and greens make the shot leap off the page. Fortunately I'm wearing my sunglasses. Them is some powerful colors. Nary a complaint.
