Another one for the SNATM theme. Blue Velvet is 1986 noir mystery film by David Lynch. He both wrote and directed it and received an Academy Award nomination as Best Director. It received somewhat mixed reviews when first released but has become a cult classic and recognized as a great mystery film.

I have seen this movie...a dark, disturbing tale with some good music and good cast...your title very fitting for this lovely blue flower and a good play on words and contrast for the film noir theme...another super submission.
