I'm a great fan of in-season tomatoes. I really don't eat them much other than summer. This is a basket of heirloom tomatoes currently residing on my kitchen counter. I'm almost only buying heirloom tomatoes these days as they have so much better flavor even though they may not be as pretty.

Your presentation here is marvelous, and I have never tried the heirloom, and I don't eat them too much. I had a patio plant the I was taking them off the vine to eat, I just pop in and enjoy. :) tigs=^..^=

Makes me want a BLT, Kathy. I might have to give the Heirloom a try. I'm not sure if I ever ate one, but I probably have.
