I've had this shot in my files for a few years because I cannot identify the flower. It was taken in the tropical conservatory and the flowers very much resemble Ixora. However Ixora is round, not long. So if anybody knows please put me out of my misery.

Kathy, although I don't know much about tropical plants/flowers, I did an attempt to identify this wonderful flower, for instance by checking-out this site.
I didn't succeed because of the lack of some details.
So I sincerely hope that someone else is capable to get you of the misery, 😜

I too have no idea what this is called Kathy. I can only say that this is a lovely shot of those bright yellow blooms against the green leaves.
