I chose this shot today because it made me remember an incident with my kitty Hallie. I lost Hallie on Sunday, she was almost 18 - this is the 4th loss in my life in 9 months. I've not been posting or commenting because I just didn't have the heart. When Hallie was just about a year old we came home from work to find her little black and white face covered with gold and red - it took me a few minutes to realize she had jumped on the dining room table and had rubbed her face in the lilies on the table. It took many days for that to wear away!

This is a lovely photo and what a nice reminder that I am sure makes you smile. I have a photo of our late Maxi drinking from a vase with gladioli in it. I always think of that when I see gladioli now. Take care and be here when you can x
