Not sure why this zinnia got that name as it was neither red nor orange but rather a mix of those two. But it was definitely an eye catcher.

An eye catcher indeed, Kathy. It has the resemblance of a floral queen, not only because of the reddish robe, but because of the golden 'crown' on her 'head' too, 😁 !

Not being familiar with a wide range of flowers, I was not aware that zinnias presented with a ring of miniature flowers within a larger blossom. Veeerryy nice, indeed. I do enjoy being instructed in botany by the likes of my floral friends here at Caedes.
