This is a picture of the moon taken in the UK on 30 March 2004. I used my Canon IXUS 400 held against my 90cm Refractor Telescope with 25mm eyepiece (36x mag). Pretty much the closest pic I can get until I get a camera mount.
Nice photo. I posted a moon shot last night as well, unfortunately I have no telescope so I only had 10x optical zoom. I did something else with it instead because it didn't stand alone like this one does. I love to see the detail like this, it looks amazing. And I think the dark backdrop and contrast here make a great desktop. Nice work~
Hello....What a great shot of the moon.....the problem is that at night the moon is a lot brighter than anything else...I either end up with an overexposed moon, or everything else ends up underexposed, but you have showed me how its done.....All the best....Mick.
I like the surface features of the other but there's nothing like this perfect ball hanging in black velvet and perfectly lit. It's an instant classic.
