In Bannack Montana there are a few houses still kept up intact..it was deserted years ago. But inside of them there are certainly many stories that could be told..

In french, we call that a 'Clair-obscur'. Is it the same in english?
The light on the stairs is beautiful, Verena. What a beautiful photo. Congrats :-)

Agree with Pat. You've captured a mood here. I particularly like the stairway and it's placement in your photo.

What a great shot, Verena! The exposure, colors, and compostition virtually tell a story. The capture of the light rays in the doorway is quite unique too. Wonderfully done! A 10F from me.

Good morning Verena
I am a little late coming across this image. Nicely done. The contrast from the bright sun outside to the empty shade indoors is very attractive, and the light that falls on the staircase almost tells a story on its own of the memory of use. Top marks, and to my favorites.

Oooh, I love old houses like this. You want to inspect every crevice for any clues as to what may have happened in the years before. The photo is haunting, but beautiful. I give it a 10 and add to my favs!!

Verena, I think this is your first post. It's very mysterious which I have a feeling is much like you. I like how you left the door open for quick escape. JK It really lets a ghostlike light into the room which adds to your theme. I really think this got you off to great start. I'll eventually get through this gallery but it will probably take some time. Have a good night.
