In the countryside about 30 miles from my home, there is always such pretty scenery(its the area we are looking for a house too) and when I saw this hayfield, I had to take a photo. Some of the picture wasnt so great, it showed the hiway etc..so I framed it. I hope you like it and will give me your thoughts on it. Thanx for stopping in...

Well done Verena. This is an exellent capture. You framed very nicely. A great job on the matt boarder. But most of all it is very crisp and sharp with great detail. I don't think anyone here could have done a better job. You cought the light at just the right time of day!

Art is the perception of the creator. Meaning is the perception of the viewer. acceptance is the perception of society.

Verena, I agree 100% with Clayton. This one is at the top...the light is magical. Way to handle that equipment:-)

This is a wonderful image, Verena. Usually I don't like framings but this one works very well.. I find the two different colors make it "less dominant". I don't know how to express exactly what I mean ... Beautiful lighting and colors in your picture...I can feel the Oregon wind blow....very nice work from you.

yea!
just repeating what everyone else has said and showing my appreciation of this shot
simply wonderful!
i especially like the unusual glow-like quality it seems to have which is emphasised by the colours youve managed to capture

and a clever way to edit out what you didnt want while maintaining the ballance of the image and its proportions

well done!

Everybody has said what I would have, I can only endorse their comments & agree with them. In addition, your framing plays up beautifully the gold color of the hayfield & the pinky salmon color of the hills above. Visually stunning. A 10 & a keeper, well done.

Ok, I'll be honest with you: there is one thing I seriously don't like at all about this photo: it's about 6030 miles from home for me! Grrrr.
Otherwise it is a winner!
Gratulations again.

Another appealing landscape shot you have here. Lovely capture. Great colors in this one.

Oh, I don't want to ... but, I must.

There is a 'dot' present in the upper left hand portion of the sky that is bothering me from what is really a standout image. As this is a beautiful companion piece to your "Almost Twilight Time" image.

I love the brown and golds ... and the greens present. Compositonally, for me ... perfect. Whatever you did edit out, nothing was lost in the translation. So, kudos on your editing chops, well done.

"Pity? It was pity that stayed Bilbo's hand. Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment. Even the very wise cannot see all ends. My heart tells me that Gollum has some part to play yet, for good or ill before this is over. The pity of Bilbo may rule the fate of many."- "I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened..." "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. Verena I think this has got to be your best landscape to date. You caught the best side of the rise for the angle of the sun to light it's face and it's beautifully composed with just enough golden field in front to lead you to the top of the hill. Very well caught.
