Oh how I loved this day of clouds! The storm actually messed up my computer...so I'm having to do some "repair" work, but these few photos I took alongside the hiway as I was coming home from the city..of course most of the farmland is now done been harvested..but the colours are so vibrant alongside that gorgeous bunch of clouds.

Wow! I'm at a loss for words! The sky is tremendous, dramatic, dynamic, incredible, amazing, extraodinary, alluring, phenomenal, sensational, spectacular.....Well, I guess I'm really not at a loss for words!

The sky is truly great .. I would not mind a bit more foreground for balance though.

The virtue of the camera is not the power it has to transform the photographer into an artist, but the impulse it gives him to keep on looking. - Brooks Anderson

A dramatic looking sky with amazing cloud formations. I can surely tell a storm is a brewin'. I hope you made it home in time Verena. As for myself I love watching storms, but don't like driving in them. I really love the golden colors of the field in contrast to the sky. An excellent shot.

The Cloud Queen strikes again. Nobody has clouds like Oregon, although we had some awesome skies here in Louisana today. The proportion of land to sky really makes this composition pop. Great work.

Hi Verena.. Quite the dramatic cloudscape! You did an excellent job capturing it. Glad you left in a bit of ground to show perspective. Beautiful! Hope your computer woes are over soon!

Such dark and looming clouds Verena. But I really like that hint of blue sky in this.

The clouds sure look angry and it looks like there may have been some sounds to accompany this look....

This is why I love storms, they're full of drama and change. This is an outstanding capture.
