This is a canvas painting I did recently using acrylic oils. It's hard to take a photo of a painting and have it turn out real good. But I hope you all can kind of see it well enough. I know the canvas and the paint itself will look a bit "noisy" but it's the way it's going to show up no matter what.I'll be posting a few more of my paintings in the next few days.I finally found a place in my home where the lighting is ok and I can try to take a good shot at them. Please feel free to comment. I began doing painting about four years ago and it's something I dearly love. As you all know I've gotten permission to paint some of your photos too, and I want to thank everyone for letting me do that. Thank you so much for lookin'

Hey Verena,
I love this a lot, the effect of the soft lines makes it work very nicely,
I also enjoy the numerous curves in here,
So beautifully done,

Thanks for sharing

If you ever see a picture of mine you want to paint, go ahead and do it. You will probably get a better c-index with it, than I got. ...I like this one of the lighthouse. Nice job.

Hi Verena....

I have returned to leave my words of praise on your doorstep....I saw this painting earlier...and was simply fascinated by it...and promised myself I would return to comment...I find this a nice place to be....;o)

I love this painting...and again my dear...I can only repeat... what a marvelous artist you are...You are talented in numerous ways....it would seem that in many facets of 'art'...you excel...I don't paint...but have a daughter who does and beautifully so...

I am so pleased at the ambience you have created here...that beautiful blend of colors..the blue sky dotted with seaguls...the easy flow of water..that I can hear if I listen carefully... and can even imagine myself being there...either lying on the beach and dreaming as my eyes reach skywards...or running the sandy beach...which I delight in doing...

It is truly a lovely piece of art work...my dear...you should be proud....I have visited CA many times...but never traveled as far north as your beautiful state of Oregon...I relish in the many photographic opportunities presented to you... by the beautiful west coast....the pacific ocean!!...you lucky girl...;o)

Nice job Verena....
