I decided not to post the texture photos for now, guess I am still in a beach mode. It was such a beautiful day, the wind made such gorgeous patterns with the grasses and sand. Wish I had taken many more photos of this. But please enjoy what there is and any comments are much appreciated.

The wow factor on this one is nearly off the charts. Excellent DOF with the dimpled areas leading us across the shot to that standing leaf. Definitely a save.

The DOF and the textures are neat... I don't know about you but I love looking for lovely textures in the sand on the beach... there are so many. Sweet!

I've looked at this series and think it's a great idea. This one stands out for me because of the strong composition - I like the suggested diagonal from bottom left to top right and the way the shadow falls on the ripples and dips. Really nicely observed Verena.
