It was drizzling today, very gently, so I just decided to 'chance it' and get photos of some of the beautiful flowers in the Portland area. I like the bit of raindrops here and there, and the lighting was overcast, so that was a perfect natural filter. I shot this flower in RAW. This particular Iris just caught my eye! Such a beauty! The colours just were so unique. Some of the Iris' were almost laying down because they were huge and also they had the weight of the rain on them. Plus we had actually had a huge tornado-like windstorm a few days ago. Please comment.

Excellent shot! The flower indeed has unique colours. The raindrops on the flower makes it look more beautiful.

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

This is so beautiful, the way you have the water droplets on it, and the way the leaves fill the background. Very very nice Verena.
