This female Ichneumon Wasp Is Using i'ts ovapositer to plant it's eggs into the den of some moth larva where they will mature and burrow a way out.

I think that all things in nature serve a purpose as do we, and that even if we don't know the end result, striving to do what we can the best we know how is the service all creatures, including humans, provide. Nicely taken photo, and one that I know must have been hard to get.

Interesting shot of a subject that is very difficult to capture - so very well done, and deserving high marks in the VB, even if the shot is a bit blurry.
One small point: it's generally the gals who lay the eggs, not the guys. :)
