According to Wikipedia (and I have no reason to doubt it) "Apophysis" (Greek: αποφυσις, offshoot) is amoungst other things: a bony protuberance. Oh, and a fractal program. Who knew? I guess you did and well done. I might have a go to, as it looks like fun. Good job.
