"'Life is not a journey to the grave with the
intention of arriving safely in a pretty
and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up,
totally worn out,
and loudly proclaiming,
"WOW! What a ride!"'

That ice looks sharp enough to cut! I've never actually seen hoar frost before (although I've heard of it). How wonderful that my introduction is so superb. Do you know the name the hoar-host plants? They look like tulips, but I don't think that can be so.
Is that what they call that, well I'll be dipped. :) Thought for sure that was shredded coconut on there. LOL Nice job Hilda, I learned something today.....go figure. :)
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to be. Trust me on this one, I live there. The Lion **** MY CAEDES GALLERY****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOME PAGE
Incredible macro, what lens are you using! I love how a heavy hoar frost turns the world into a magical place. I've never really examined it this closely!
Certainly was amazing Hilda, look at those patterns! You're not kidding about reaching a maximum of zero where you are this winter are you? I might have set a slightly smaller aperture for this to get more dof but it's a great macro. I know you're cold but I'm loving what it's doing for your photography!
Thanks to all my friends for the wonderful images I get to look at and learn from on Caedes every day. I always have something to say about them, but don't always have the time to record it. Please forgive me if I can't comment on all of your uploads.
