and grandfather! My sweetheart ... who planted a butterfly garden so I could see these beauties. This one is from last summer - we're still waiting for them to arrive this year. Happy Father's Day to all of you dads out there. Hope you're all treated like Monarchs! PS, The butterfly isn't super clear, I know. As you can see by the fold of the wings he was in motion. You can tell it's a he by the black spot on the wing - that's their scent gland.

I call her Queen of the Garden. They are just one of the most beautiful butterflies I see there. The dof is so lovely in this shot, Hilda and the purple and orange are so right for each other, just as you and Steve are so right together too. A wonderful tribute to your husband on this day set aside for the men in our lives.
